Verification of a provider and their courses prior to Listing

A verifying authority will confirm details about provider and their courses prior to Listing on AusLIST.

Verification of an application for Listing on AusLIST will be undertaken by the following verifying authorities.

The verifying authority will confirm that, for the sector for which the provider is seeking listing :

  • the provider is approved to operate as an Australian education and/or training provider;
  • the provider delivers education and/or training in Australia;
  • the provider has no known persistent and/or significant non-compliance with nationally agreed standards outstanding at the time of application for Listing or re-Listing; and has no adverse findings against them by an external review body that is relevant to the provider’s ability to deliver quality education and training ; and
  • the course for which the provider is seeking Listing is:
    • an AQF qualification which the provider is approved to deliver or which is within the provider’s scope of registration; or
    • an English Language Training (ELT) course; and
    • one which the verifying authority has no significant concerns about in relation to its compliance with the relevant agreed national standards. 

Where the verifying authority is unable to confirm that a provider is delivering courses in Australia, DEEWR will ask the provider to confirm in writing that this is the case.
