To be Listed on AusLIST, a course must:
- be an AQF qualification which the provider is approved to deliver (higher education) or which is within the provider’s scope of registration (VET); or
- be an English Language Training (ELT) course (however, pending the finalisation of nationally agreed ELICOS standards, AusLIST will only list ELT courses where the Australian provider is either registered on CRICOS, or is an Australian Registered Training Organisation, an Australian University or an Australian School); and
- be delivered in a manner consistent with the relevant agreed national standards; and
- be available for enrolment at the time of listing; and
- include a compulsory face-to-face component (which does not include invigilated examinations, but includes work placements if they form part of the accredited course) outside of Australia.
Where a provider delivers part of an AQF qualification offshore, with the remainder of the qualification delivered in Australia, the full AQF qualification will be listed on AusLIST, with an indication that the qualification is only partially delivered offshore.
In applying for the inclusion of a course on AusLIST, the provider will need to indicate if the qualification is fully or partially delivered offshore at the locations where it is listed.
The following courses are not eligible for Listing on AusLIST:
- non-award courses, other than non-award ELT courses.
- courses delivered by Australian approved providers leading to international qualifications (such as the International Baccalaureate).
